Lean Action Learning Research Collaborative:  This will bring together hospitals/integrated health systems to collaboratively evaluate the impact of lean management on performance outcomes. 

Lean Healthcare Implementation Self-Assessment Instrument (LHISI): A 25-item self-assessment instrument that is designed to incorporate responses from multiple staff members at a range of organizational levels to examine an organization’s progress in implementing lean.

National Lean Hospital Survey:  This survey assesses the development and implementation of lean (or lean + Six Sigma) in acute care, general medical, and surgical hospitals in the United States.
